Duct Saddle

The HVAC Saddle Mount is an optional installation accessory for the MAK-Inline™ system when plenum space is limited or unavailable. In situations where the return or supply plenum does not provide sufficient flat surface area for standard mounting, the saddle allows secure integration directly onto round or oval ductwork.

Why It’s Needed

In many residential and light commercial systems, especially retrofit applications, the plenum may:

• Be too short for proper mounting clearance

• Contain internal obstructions

• Be constructed of materials that limit secure attachment

• Not exist in a traditional configuration

The saddle provides a stable mounting platform when direct plenum installation is not feasible.
